Product Development Manager

Job description of CAD Manager

i. CAD Managers should have knowledge about the CAD process for RMG.

ii. Pattern making and Marker Making in CAD.

iii. To prepare a pattern based on buyer requirements.

iv. To review the sample measurement and workmanship prior to sending to the buyer. Solve the technical issue on the production floor.

v. To communicate with the buyer nominated technical person and accordingly follow their standard.

vi. Shrinkage/Pattern Grouping, Pattern Corrections/ Balancing/ Adjustment according to the Fit Model.

vii. Ensure cost reduction by achieving optimum efficiency of CAD, and making hundred percent accurate markers.

viii. Communicate and Coordinate with the associates (Sample making, Cutting, merchandisers, technicians, seniors) and suppliers to reach the best consumption with quality and efficiency.

ix. Support and advise the team/factories to find the best solution to reduce fabric wastage and to achieve maximum fabric use.

x. Digitizing the patterns (given by the pattern maker), carrying out alterations, adjustments, and grading as per instructions, and preparing a mini-marker for the calculation of the material consumption for costing purposes.

CAD Manager

Job description of Production Manager (Garments)
