The reasons why Ramadan is so important

Ramadan is a month rich in the blessings of Allah and the golden opportunity to get close to Him. This month is known as the spring of prayer and worship of the believer. The affection and interest of the believers towards the month of Ramadan are unlimited. The dignity of this glorious month is immense.

The month of Ramadan: Allah Almighty has fixed the month of Ramadan for such an important period as fasting. This is enough to make the month of Ramadan dignified. Allah says: “So let those of you who are in this month fast in this month. (Surat al-Baqara, Ayat: 185)

The month of the Qur'an: Allah Almighty has revealed the Qur'an, the last and greatest book for the guidance of mankind in the month of Ramadan. According to the Qur'an, Ramadan has been recognized as the best month. Allah says: ‘The month of Ramadan, in which the Qur'an has been revealed as a clear guide to mankind and a guide to truth and a distinguisher of truth. (Surat al-Baqara, Ayat: 185)

Lailatul Qadr month: Lailatul Qadr or the Night of Power is better than a thousand months. A thousand months is 83 years and four months. This glorious night is in the month of Ramadan. Allah says, Behold, We revealed this (Qur'an) on the Night of Power. ‘And do you know what the Night of Power is? The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. On this night the angels and Ruhul Qudus [Gabriel (peace be upon him)) descended (to the earth) with every good thing at the command of their Lord. (This night) Total peace, which continues till Fajr. (Surah Qadr, verses 1-5)

The month of opening the door of mercy: In the month of Ramadan, the doors of God's mercy and paradise are opened. The gates of hell are closed. And the accursed and disobedient Satan is chained. All this is a blessing of the month of Ramadan. Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘When the month of Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are closed. And Satan is chained. (Bukhari, Hadith: 3103; Muslim, Hadith: 2547)

The month of Forgiveness: Allah Almighty bestows the month of Ramadan for the forgiveness of His servants and deliverance from Hell. It is very sad not to be able to get the forgiveness of Allah by taking advantage of this opportunity. Narrated Abu Huraira: The Messenger of Allah, May Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, ‘Let the nose of that person be gray with dust, to whom even after my name has been uttered, who do not get darud. Let the nose of that person be gray with dust, to whom the month of Ramadan comes, but his sins cannot be forgiven. Let the nose of that person be gray with dust, who has found his parents or one of them in old age but they have not been able to admit him to Paradise. (Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3545)

The month of Doa acceptance: Doa is accepted during the month of Ramadan. Fasting doa's are not returned. Many hadiths have been narrated about the acceptance of fasting prayers. Narrated Jabir (Ra): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘Allaah saves countless people from Hell every night and day of the month of Ramadaan. And the prayers of every Muslim are accepted. (Shuabul Iman, Hadith: 3605)

The status of Umrah is like the month of Hajj: Performing Umrah in the month of Ramadan is like performing Hajj with Rasulullah (peace be upon him). Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), ‘When the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) returned from Hajj, he asked an Ansari woman named Umm Sinan, who forbade you from Hajj? The woman replied that Omuk's father (that is, her husband). He has two camels for irrigation. He has performed Hajj by riding on one, the other has been irrigated with water. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, ‘Performing Umrah in the month of Ramadan is equivalent to performing Hajj with me. (Bukhari, Hadith: 1764)

The month of decorating paradise: Paradise is decorated throughout the year centering on the month of Ramadan. This dress is for the fasting people and for those who observe Ramadan properly. Narrated Ibn Abbas: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, from the first day of the month of Ramadan, a special kind of wind called 'Mashira' blows from the bottom of the throne Azim. In its cradle, the leaves of the tree of Paradise and the doorknob sway in such a way that a kind of melodious melody is created. The kind of voice listeners has never heard before. (Shu'abul Iman, Hadith: 3695)

The month of Deliverance from Hell: In the month of Ramadan, Allah Almighty extends His forgiveness and mercy. He saved countless people from Hell. Narrated Jabir: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘Allah saves countless people from Hell every night and day of the month of Ramadan. (Shu'abul Iman, Hadith: 3605)

Intermediate Month of Atonement: Evil deeds are removed by good deeds. Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘The five daily prayers, from one Jumu'ah to another Jumu'ah and from one Ramadan to another, are expiation for the sins of the time if the big survive the sins. (Muslim, Hadith: 574)

In fact, one has to prepare a little in advance for the proper celebration of Ramadan. During the time of Rasulullah (peace be upon him), as Ramadan approached, his interest, discussion, and practice of Ramadan increased, and he would instruct the Companions to prepare for Ramadan.
