Ayatul kursi translation
Allah!
There is no god but Him, the living, and the self-sufficient. No drowsiness nor
sleep can consume him. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth.
Who can recommend it before him without permission? He knows what (appears to His
creation) before or after them or behind them. They will not be able to
encircle anything of His knowledge except as He wills. His throne is spread
over the heavens and the earth, and He does not feel any fatigue in protecting
and preserving them. Because He is the Highest in glory.

(SAW) say: Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi regularly after every obligatory

Narrated Ubayy Ibn Ka'b: He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)
said: O Abul Munzir! Which verse of the Book of Allah is most honorable to you?
I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said again, O Abul
Munzir! Which verse of the Book of Allah is most honorable to you? I said,
"Allahu la ilaha illa huwal haiyul qayyum" (Ayatul Kursi). Then he
hit me on the chest (lightly) and said: O Abul Munzir! May your knowledge be
pleasing? (Sunan Abu Dawood 1460)
iv. An angel is on guard to guard him until morning when he reads. So that the devil may not come near him. (Bukhari) Narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There is an excellent verse in Surah Al-Baqarah, Satan flees from the room where Ayatul Kursi will be recited. the verse is recited. (Tafsir Ma Areful Quran)
vi.
Narrated Ubayy bin Ka'b: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)

vii.
Narrated from Abu Hurairah. He said, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah
bless him and grant him peace, appointed me to guard the zakat of
Ramadan." A man came and filled his hands and started taking food items. I
grabbed him and said, by God! I will present you to the Messenger of Allah, may
Allah bless him and grant him peace. He said, let me go. I am very destitute, I
have family responsibilities in my custody and my needs are acute. Then "I
gave up".
When
morning came, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked me,
'O Abu Hurairah, what did you do your prisoner of the night?' I said, O
Messenger of Allah! I feel sorry for her because of her severe lack and family,
so I let her go. He said, be careful! He lied to you and he will come again. I
understand that he will come again because of the saying of Allah's Messenger
(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). So I waited for him. He came and
began to take food items full of his hands. I grabbed him and said, "I
will take you to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."
He said, let me go. Because I am very poor and I have family responsibilities,
I will not come again.

I felt sorry for him and let him go. In the morning, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asked me, O Abu Hurairah! What did your prisoner do? I said, O Messenger of Allah! I feel sorry for him because he is in dire need and speaks about her family. So I let him go. He said, "Beware, he has lied to you and he will come again." So I waited for her for the third time. He filled the original and Anjali again and started taking food items. I grabbed him and said, 'I will take you to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.' This is the last time three times. You say every time, don't come again but come again. He said, let me go. I'll teach you a few things. With which Allah will benefit you. I said, what is it? He said, "When you go to bed at night, Ayatul Kursi (Allahu La ilaha illa Huwal Hayyul Qayyum) will be recited till the end of the verse." Then a guardian will be appointed for you from Allah, and Satan will not come to you till dawn. So I let him go. At dawn, Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me, "What did your prisoner do last night?" I said, O Messenger of Allah! He told me that he would teach me a few words by which Allah would benefit me. So I let him go. He said to me, what are these sentences? I said, he told me that when you go to bed, Ayatul Kursi (Allahu la ilaha illa Huwal Hayyul Qayyum) will be recited from the beginning to the end of the verse and he said to me, there will be a guardian for you from Allah and no devil will come to you till dawn. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Yes, he has told you the truth." But beware, he is a liar. O Abu Hurairah! Do you know who you talked to for three nights? Abu Hurairah said, "No." He (Prophet) said he was the devil. (Sahih Bukhari No. 2311)
