The dignity of parents in Islam
Parents
are an invaluable resource in this world. Absolute respect and honor. The
importance of parents to their children is unique. The best thing to do after
worshiping Allah is to serve one's parents. The dignity of parents has been
described in detail in the Qur'an and Hadith. The great Lord declares, ‘Your
Lord has commanded that you worship none but Him and that you be good to your
parents.
If
one or both of them grow old in your lifetime, do not utter the word 'uh', do
not threaten them, and speak politely to them. With love for them, humbly bow
down and say, O Lord! Have mercy on them both, as they raised me in my
childhood. 'Surah Bani Isra'il verses 23-24.
In
this verse, Allah has instructed his worship. He also gave instructions to take
good care of the parents. The dignity of parents has gained a lot of importance
in this. After the worship of Allah, the most important thing in human life is
to serve one's parents. Therefore, it is the duty of every child to obey their legitimate
orders and prohibitions, to take all necessary measures to help them, and to
refrain from harassing them.
In
the above verse, Allah has taught us the best and shortest sentence to pray for
our parents. We can regularly pray to God for those parents, whether they are
alive or dead. There are many more prayers in the Qur'an and Hadith.
It
is better to pray in the Qur'an-Hadith. If that is not possible, then the
desire of one's heart can be presented to Allah in any way. If any one of them
leaves this world, it is the demand of humanity to pray for him with sincerity
and to seek peace through good deeds and charity. Because then they are very
helpless.
The
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘When a person dies,
the path of all his good deeds is closed. However, three systems are in place.
Sadaqaye Zaria or knowledge from which one can benefit or an honest child who
will pray for him (parents). 'Muslim. It is a matter of good fortune to keep
the parents satisfied. The one whose parents are alive is very lucky. There is
no one in this world who is the best wisher than a parent for a child. Parents
make every effort for the welfare of their child. Endures endless misery in every
step of life.

Gabriel
(peace be upon him) once said in Ramadan, ‘May the person who has found both
parents or one of them alive in old age and through whom he has not opened the
way to heaven be destroyed. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him) said, 'Amen.' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,
‘The prayers of three persons must be accepted by Allah. Blessings of parents,
Blessings of the traveler, and the prayer of the oppressed person. 'Abu Dawood,
Tirmidhi. One of the great people of the time of Rasulullah (peace be upon him)
was Wais Al Karni (Rah.).
He
could not get close to the Prophet (peace be upon him) as he was engaged in the
service of his mother. Rasulullah (peace be upon him) recognized him as the
best Tabi'i. He instructed Sahabi Omar (rah.) to receive good prayers from that
Wais al-Karni (rah.). It touches our hearts. Here is the advice to educate everyone.
Of
course, it is undesirable for those of us who cannot afford to spend time with
our parents because of our busy schedules. Even after that, it is very
important to keep them informed as much as possible in any way and to try all
kinds of cooperation for their various needs, demands of faith, moral
responsibility, provisions of Allah, and His Messenger which is an unforgivable
crime to violate.
