Hajj and umrah step by step according to Islam
Hajj
is the best form of worship for the Muslim Ummah. Apart from money, there are many rules for performing Hajj. This Hajj can be performed in three
ways. Then only Hajj (Ifrad) in one Ihram, Hajj and Umrah (Keran) in one Ihram,
Hajj and Umrah (Tamattu) in separate Ihram.
Most Bangladeshi pilgrims perform Tamattu Hajj. That is, they perform Hajj and Umrah in separate Ihram. First, he performed Umrah, then again he performed Ihram, and then performed Hajj. The rules for performing Tamattu Hajj are as follows:
Those
who perform Tamattu Hajj will perform Umrah first in the month of Hajj
(Shawwal, Zilqad, Zilhaj). Then he will become halal by shaving his head from the Ihram of Umrah. Live a normal life and walk-in normal clothes till the
appointed time of Hajj.
Tamattu
Hajj is performed by performing Ihram again for Hajj between the 7th and 9th
Zilhaj of the prescribed time of Hajj. This Hajj is less difficult and easier.
Umrah step by step according to Islam
The literal meaning of Umrah is religious deeds, worship, happiness, service, stability, life, antiquity, architectural installation, receipt, reception, pilgrimage, or desire. It is important to perform Umrah. This applies to both men and women. There is no provision that Hajj becomes obligatory after performing Umrah. Regarding Umrah, the Qur’an says, ‘Surely Safa and Marwa are one of the signs of Allah; So those who will perform Hajj or Umrah, they will do these two circumambulations (sayi). '(Sura-2 Baqara, verse: 158)
i. Ihram of Umrah (obligatory)
Those
who go directly to Makkah from different parts of the world can leave Ihram
from their homes. Or perform Ihram from the Hajj camp of their respective
countries or before crossing the Miqat. To perform ablution or bath to perform
Ihram. After that, the male Hajj Umrah performers will wear two seamless
clothes before crossing the Miqat. And women will wear their Ihram clothes. Then
perform two rak'ats of prayers and make the intention of Umrah in this way-
‘Allahumma
labbaik omratan.’
Then
recite Talbiyah three times-
Talbiyah-
‘Labbaik
Allahumma Labbaik, Labbike, La Sharika Laka Labbike, Innal Hamda Wan Nimata
Laka Wal Mulk, La Sharika Luck. '
Meaning
of Talbiya
‘I
am present, O Allah! I'm here! I am here to answer your call. You have no
partners. Undoubtedly all praise and wealth are yours and absolute dominion is
yours. You have no partners. "
ii. Tawaf of Umrah (Obligatory)
Complete
Tawaf of Kaaba Sharif with 7 rounds of ablution. Starting Tawaf from Hajar
Aswad by saying ‘Bismillahi Allahu Akbar’ with both hands up to the shoulders.
If possible, kiss or touch the Hazre Aswad. If it is not possible, start Tawaf
by raising both hands up to the shoulders from a distance and pointing towards
Hazre Aswad. Touch it when crossing the Rukn Yemeni if possible. If it is not
possible, it is enough to point out.
a. Ijtiba
Ijtibah
must be performed during Baitullah Tawaf. Ijtibah is to place the sheet of
Ihram under the right armpit and leave the two heads of the sheet in front and
behind the left shoulder.
b. To rumble/Ramal
The
first three chakras are like a ramal or a hero's chest swells and the shoulders
are shaken and circled in quick steps. The next four rounds are usually
completed by walking. Recitation of this prayer during the Tawaf from Kaaba
Sharif Rukne Yemeni to Hajar Aswad.
"Rabbana
atina fiddunia hasanatao wafil akhirati hasanatao waqina a'jaban nar."
Then
come to Hajar Aswad and thus complete Tawaf in seven rounds and eight istilam.
iii. Prayers at Maqam Ibrahim (Obligatory)
At
the end of the Tawaf, if there is no crowd, perform two rak'ats of prayers to
Ibrahim at the maqam. If there is a crowd, move away and pray away. It is a
place of prayer. Then stand up and drink the Jam jam water.
iv. Sayi of Umrah (Obligatory)
Climb
the hill of Safa and from there turn towards Qibla and start Sayi from Safa
with the intention of Sayi. Quickly cross the designated area between Safa and
Marwar. Praying by climbing Marawa hill. Then come to Safa again. Do this seven
times.
v. Shaving head (obligatory)
If
you are a man, shave your head completely or cut your hair according to world
prophet (saw) ideology. If you are a woman, cut your hair one inch and go out
of Ihram for Umrah. Remember, Muhrim will cut women's hair. After performing
Umrah, one becomes pure from Ihram and leads a normal life. Then wait till the
appointed time of Hajj. Again Ihram for Hajj from 7 Jilhaj.
Hajj step by step according to Islam
Hajj is a special provision of Allah. Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam. Hajj is obligatory for men and women who are financially and physically able. Regarding Hajj, Allah says in the Qur'an, "Hajj has been made obligatory by Allah for those who can afford it." (Surah Al Imran; verse: 96).
i. Hajj Ihram (obligatory)
A
sermon is given on the rules of the Hajj 7 Zilhaj at Kaaba Sharif. Listen to it
carefully. Then from Haram Sharif or Basa, according to the previous rule, just
enter Ihram for Hajj and reach Mina before the 8 Zilhaj Johar prayers.
ii. Location in Mina (Sunnah)
Performing
a total of five daily prayers in Mina from 8 Zilhaj Johar to 9 Zilhaj Fajr and
staying there.
iii. Location on Arafat ground (Fard)
One
of the pillars of Hajj is to stay on the plain of Arafat. In the morning of 9th
Zilhaj, perform Fajr prayers in Mina, take a bath in preparation for coming to
Arafa, and recite Tashriq once in Takbeer-
‘Allahu
Akbar Allahu Akbar; La ilaha illallah; Wallahu Akbar Allahu Akbar; Wa lillahil
hamd. '

Arriving
at Arafa before the Zohar prayers. Then from noon to sunset on the plain of
Arafat to listen to the Hajj sermon. Performing the Zohar and Asr prayers
separately in their respective tents at specific times. Departing for
Muzdalifah after sunset without Maghrib prayers.
iv. Location in Muzdalifah (obligatory)
After
sunset from Arafat ground, go to Muzdalifah and perform Maghrib and Isha in the
same Azan and in the same Iqamah. Performing tashrik in takbeer after every
prayer, that is, performing tashrik in takbeer till the 13th Jilhaj Asr
prayers. It is sunnah to spend the night in Muzdalifah. And it is obligatory to
stay for some time after the Fajr prayers until the sun rises. So Muzdalifah
cannot be abandoned before Fajr. But before sunrise, we have to leave
Muzdalifah for the mina. Collecting 70 small pebbles to be thrown into Mina
while coming to Mina from Muzdalifah.
v. Throwing stones/Pebbles (first day)
It
is obligatory to perform 10 Zilhaj Fajr prayers in Muzdalifah and come to Mina
before sunrise and throw 7 (seven) pebbles in the big jamra. If it is not
possible on this day to throw stones the till the end of the night. Listening
attentively to the direction of throwing stones.
vi. Sacrificing (obligatory)
Throwing
stones at the big devil and then sacrificing.
vii. Shaving the head (obligatory)
Shaving
the head after completing the sacrifice follows the ideals of the world
prophet. Which is obligatory. By shaving his head, he will be able to leave the
clothes of Ihram and lead a normal life with other clothes. However, the wife cannot
have intercourse.
Caution

Zilhaj It is important to maintain continuity between the three tasks of
throwing stones at the big devil, sacrificing, and shaving the head.
viii. Ziyarat in Tawaf (obligatory)
The
last obligatory act of Hajj is a Ziyarat in Tawaf. Which must be completed
before 12 Zilhaj sunsets. However, if it is collected after the 12th, the
sacrifice has to be made.
ix. 2nd and 3rd-day throwing stones (obligatory)
10,
11, and 12 Zilhaj Mina and 11 and 12 Zilhaj Mina in the three jamra 7 to throw
21 stones. Throwing stones first in small jamra then in medium jamra, then in
big jamra. In all cases, it is better for the weak and women to throw stones at
night.
a. Overnight in Mina
During
the days staying in Mina, spend the night in Mina till 10-12 Zilhaj. Those who
will leave Mina must leave Mina before sunset on the 12th.
b. Leave Mina
If
you don't want to stay in 13 Zilhaj Mina, leave Mina before 12 Zilhaj evening.
It is better to leave Mina before sunset. It is sunnah to return from Mina
after throwing 7 stones in each jamra while staying in 13 Jilhaj Mina.
x. Farewell Tawaf (Obligatory)
Farewell
Tawaf is obligatory for all Hajj pilgrims from all over the world. However, any
supererogatory Tawaf at the end of Hajj becomes a farewell Tawaf. May Allah
grant the Muslim Ummah the Tawfeeq to perform the Tamattu Hajj properly?
Benefits of Hajj
The
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The reward of the true
Hajj can be nothing but heaven. For those who perform Hajj with good
intentions, Allah will accept their Hajj and infinite mercy and blessings are
inevitable for them. Hajj is obligatory once in a lifetime. If there is an
opportunity, there is no obstacle to performing Hajj repeatedly or every year.
Hajj can be performed with anyone's money. If you perform Hajj with gifts or
donations, it will be realized. Hajj will be performed even if you perform Hajj
for the sake of the job or duty of any organization. If it is not a substitute
Hajj, then it is one's duty to perform Hajj; If the obligatory Hajj has been
performed before, it will be nafl. If the supererogatory Hajj is performed with
the intention of substituting Hajj for someone else, it will be the same.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘Hajj makes people innocent, just as rust is removed from iron.’ (Tirmidhi). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘Whoever performs Hajj properly, he becomes as innocent of his previous sins as he was innocent on the day he was born from the womb.’ (Bukhari and Muslim). If he is physically incapable of performing Hajj, he can be transferred to someone else. Badli Hajj Those who perform Hajj, those who finance, and those for whom Hajj is performed, all get the reward of full Hajj. It is the duty of those who have not been able to perform Hajj in spite of their ability, to make a will for performing Hajj. Requested transfer Hajj is obligatory for the heirs to perform before the distribution of the property of the testator.
