And complete Hajj and Umrah for the sake of Allah.
But if you are interrupted, what is easily obtained with the [offer]
sacrificial animal. And do not shave your head until the sacrificial animal has
reached the place of sacrifice. And whoever of you is sick or has a disease of
the head, he will pay the ransom of fasting the three days or charity or
sacrificial. And when you are safe, the person who performs Umrah [in the
months of Hajj] and performs Hajj [offers] the sacrificial animal that he can
easily get. And the person who cannot find [or the capacity of such an animal]
- then fast three days during Hajj and seven days when you return [home]. They
are ten complete [days]. This is for those whose family is not in the Al-Masjid
Al-Haram area. And fear Allah, and know that Allah is severe in requiting. (Surah
Al-Baqarah verse: 196)
Preparation for Hajj-Umrah
Hajj-Umrah
is a difficult act of worship. The Holy Qur'an states that Hajj is obligatory
only for those who are physically, mentally, and financially able. Along with
financial preparation for Hajj, physical preparation is also important. Because
it is not possible to observe the rules of Hajj properly without physical
fitness. Hajj-Umrah requires special preparation. Such as below-
i. Correction of beliefs
Muslim
life is based on correct beliefs. The life of a person whose beliefs do not
right fail. The first and foremost duty of a Muslim is to purify his beliefs.
Allah the Almighty said, ‘Whoever disbelieves with faith, his deeds will be
ruined. He will be among the losers in the Hereafter. '(Surat al-Ma'ida: 5)
It
is important to purify the beliefs of every believing Muslim before performing
obligatory acts of worship like Hajj. It is necessary to get out of Kufr,
Shirk, Bidati, and erroneous beliefs.
Despite
being Muslims, many Muslims go to the mosque, just as they go to the shrine and
prostrate, and just as they go to Makkah, they also go to the temple. Their
number in society is not less. Allah the Almighty said, ‘Most of them believe
in Allah, the state of polytheism in worship.' (Surah Yusuf: 106)
Therefore,
it is important for a person who believes in Islam, including Hajj and Umrah,
to have a shirk-free faith. Only then will all the deeds of the servant, big or
small, be accepted by Allah. Because the acceptance of all deeds depends on the
belief. Prophet (saw) said, "All actions depend on intention."
The
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also said, ‘Surely Allah
does not accept any deed unless it is done for the sake of the heart and for
His satisfaction.’ (Bukhari, Muslim, Mishkat)
ii. Collection of legal assets
The
precondition for accepting Ibadat is to collect halal rizik or money. There is
no substitute for Hajj-Umrah. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him) said, ‘Indeed, Allah is Glorious, He does not accept anything except what
is holy.’ (Muslim)
If
one's food, drink, and clothing are haraam, then his worship will not be
acceptable. So everyone should be careful, food, drink, clothing, and furniture
are halal or haram. If Hajj-Umrah is performed with the money earned through
any kind of corruption and crime, it will not be accepted.
iii. Hajj training
It
is important to take training related to Hajj-Umrah before going for Hajj. If
you go for Hajj without training, it becomes difficult to follow its rules and
regulations properly. Many make mistakes. That is why the expiation of many has
to be counted. Due to a lack of this knowledge many people do not perform the
Hajj. For this, there is no alternative but to go for Hajj with a worthy
companion i.e., Alem-Olama.
iv. Hajj caravan
There
is no substitute for a caravan eligible for Hajj. Those who go for Hajj need a
qualified teacher to guide them in Hajj and Umrah matters. If a proper caravan
does not take place, then it becomes difficult to perform Hajj properly.
Therefore, it is important to form a good caravan to perform Hajj properly. The
hadith speaks of the contact of good people in this way-
Hazrat
Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet
(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, Examples of honest companions
and dishonest companions are perfume sellers and blacksmiths. Being a perfumer will
give you perfume, or you may buy perfume from him; Or else you will at least
get the fragrance from him. The blacksmith, on the other hand, is the one who
will burn your clothes; Or else you will get a bad smell from him. '(Bukhari,
Muslim, Mishkat)
You may know- Hell or Jahannam | The hell according to Qur'an-Hadith
Therefore,
if a qualified caravan rich in scholars and ulama is found for Hajj, then the
other members of the caravan will be able to perform Hajj beautifully and well.
v. Knowing the rules of Hajj-Umrah
Hajj
should be performed in the manner shown by the Prophet (peace and blessings of
Allah be upon him). It is necessary to know the rules and regulations required
for Hajj. It will not be accepted to perform Hajj without following the Prophet
(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) method. It has been narrated in the
hadith-
‘Take
your Hajj method (rules, customs) from me.’ (Baihaqi, Muslim, Mishkat)
Remember
Hajj and Umrah mean gaining the satisfaction of the great Lord. Therefore, for the purpose of worshiping Allah, perform the prescribed activities according to the customs and principles are shown by the Prophet. Circumambulation of Baitullah. Safa-Marwa sayi. It is important to shave the head and perform positions in Arafa, Mina, and Muzdalifah.
